It governs how we collect, use, share, and protect information from users of our platform and services.

We collect the following categories of information:

Account & Identity Information: Name (optional), email address, password (hashed), account creation date, subscription tier, and trial status.

Subscription & Billing Metadata: Subscription plan, billing dates, trial conversion events, and payment status. We do not store full payment card numbers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which maintains its own privacy practices.

Authentication & Security Logs: Login timestamps, IP addresses used at login, session tokens, 2FA status, failed login attempts, password reset events.

Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and referrer URL collected automatically when you use the platform.

Usage & Analytics Data: Page views, session IDs, time on page, feature interactions, CTA clicks, trial/signup/upgrade events, UTM parameters, and referral source data tracked through our first-party analytics system and Plausible Analytics.

AI Chat Inputs & Outputs: Prompts, questions, and messages submitted to AI chat features, and AI-generated responses. These may be used to improve platform features and AI quality, subject to applicable provider agreements.

Support Communications: Email correspondence, bug reports, and support requests submitted to us.

Uploaded Content: Files or content uploaded to platform features where applicable.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Operate and provide the platform, including authenticating users and managing accounts
• Process subscriptions, trials, renewals, and billing
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Improve platform features, charts, dashboards, and AI quality
• Troubleshoot bugs, errors, and technical issues
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents
• Measure platform performance, conversion rates, and user engagement
• Send transactional communications (account confirmation, billing receipts, trial expiration notices, security alerts)
• Send optional marketing communications if you have opted in
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

4. How Information Is Shared

We may share limited information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating the platform, including hosting providers (Render), database providers (Neon), email delivery providers, analytics infrastructure, and AI model providers. These providers have access only to information needed to perform their functions and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Payment Processors: Stripe processes payment transactions. We share necessary billing information with Stripe to complete transactions. Stripe's privacy policy governs its data practices.
• Legal & Regulatory: We may disclose information where required by law, court order, regulatory authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company or others.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers or third-party marketers. Skylark Digital Assets LLC does not intend to sell personal information to advertisers. The Company may share limited information with service providers necessary to operate, secure, bill, analyze, and improve the Services.

5. Cookies and Session Storage

The platform uses cookies and browser session storage for authentication (login tokens), user preference storage (theme settings), and session tracking for analytics purposes. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics provider that does not set cross-site tracking cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information at the analytics level.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to log in or use certain platform features. We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals at this time, though we use privacy-respecting analytics by default.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We may retain certain information after account closure as required by law, for fraud prevention, or for legitimate business purposes. Analytics and event log data may be retained for product improvement purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described in Section 7.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Access & Update: Request access to personal information we hold about you or correct inaccurate information via your account settings or by contacting us.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data. We will process deletion requests subject to legal retention requirements and legitimate business needs.
• Marketing Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Transactional communications (billing, security) are not affected by marketing opt-out.
• Data Portability: Where applicable law requires, request a copy of your personal data in a portable format.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt hashing), encrypted OAuth tokens (AES-256-GCM), HTTPS for data transmission, JWT-based authentication, and access controls for sensitive administrative functions. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Third-Party Websites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Company's own services.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may provide notice through the Platform or via email. Continued use of the Platform after policy changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
